APPLE Schools named a global top 100 education project

We are excited to announce that APPLE Schools has been named one of the world’s top 100 most innovative and inspiring education projects of 2020!

This recognition comes from HundrED, a non-profit in Finland that seeks and shares inspiring education innovations from all over the world. They help improve education and inspire a grassroots movement through highlighting the most pedagogically sound and ambitious innovations that can potentially spread globally.

APPLE Schools was chosen from 2,000 innovations due to its unique pioneering status and ability to create a scalable impact reaching more than 20,000 vulnerable students.

We are so thankful for everyone who has contributed: funders, districts, principals, partners, teachers, school health facilitators and champions, school staff, parents, and of course, students! Without all their efforts, this would not be a reality. We are proud of each APPLE school community and their leadership in supporting healthy kids in healthy schools.
